1. Who we are
Synvora is a hosted realtime platform operated by Swift Projects. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, dashboard and APIs.
2. Information we handle
- Account information. Your name, email address, organization and role, and an encrypted (hashed) password. Accounts are created by an administrator.
- Access requests. If you ask for access we store the name, email, company, expected volume and the description you submit.
- Project configuration. Projects, environments, channel names, key labels and allowed origins that you set up. Keys are stored only as one-way hashes.
- Usage information. Aggregate counters such as number of events, connections and bandwidth, used to apply plan limits and show you usage.
- Security and activity records. Sign-ins and administrative actions, which can include your name and, where available, your IP address and browser type.
3. What we do not keep
The content of the events you publish passes through the service while it is being delivered and is not written to our database or logs. We keep aggregate counts, not payloads. Because nothing is retained, we cannot replay or recover past events for you.
4. How we use information
- To create and secure your account and to send the emails involved (account setup, password reset, notices about your account and usage).
- To operate the service, apply plan limits and prevent abuse.
- To investigate security issues and to meet legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to run Synvora, such as hosting and email delivery, and they may process information on our behalf under their own terms. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the service and its users.
6. Retention
We keep account information while your account exists. Usage history is kept for the period included in your plan. Security and activity records are kept as long as needed for security and accountability. If an account is deactivated we keep its configuration so it can be restored.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed, one-time links are single use and expire, keys are stored as hashes and shown only once, and access to administrative functions is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your secret keys out of public code.
8. Cookies
We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
9. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may be able to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to certain processing. To make a request, or to raise a privacy concern, contact us through the request access page or by replying to any email we have sent you. We may need to verify your identity first and will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Children
Synvora is intended for businesses and developers and is not directed at children under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date at the top shows when it last changed; significant changes will be announced in the dashboard or by email.
